The Sticky Fingers: An amber-lab experiment with Jonas Landsbergis in Nida, Lithuania —
imagining what future amber might preserve.

The Sticky Fingers  2016

In Nida, on the Curonian Spit, amber washes up on the beach. Together with Jonas Landsbergis (LT), I imagine what amber looks like thousands of years from now, and what is found stuck in the sap. We start our own small amber lab and experiment with pine sap from the forest. The little stones are shown on a lightbox, as in a museum of natural history. I make a report in drawings (series of 24).
